A state-of-the art online map viewer will be central to the LandScope experience. Zoom smoothly from a national view to state and local perspectives anywhere across the country. Choose accurate, up-to-date conservation data and base maps, switching quickly between aerial and topographic imagery or richly detailed maps depicting conservation themes.
Welcome to LandScope America, an exciting new online conservation resource. Planned for release in late 2008, this interactive website will bring together maps, data and stories about natural places and present them in highly dynamic and accessible formats. We hope the result will both inform and inspire conservation of America’s incomparable lands and waters.
GIS professionals may not be the primary audience for LandScope, but since they're a primary source of information for the LandScope website and wall maps, we decided to make a big promotional push at the ESRI International User Conference this month in San Diego.
